To begin with they're sweet:
they grow tiny nails and teeth.
Who'd guess he'd turn
into a sabre-toothed tiger?
When he leanerd how to kiss,
out of sheer love
he gobbled up his nurse,
gnawed the bones clean
and was finally as full-up
as a filled-in grave.
