THE SUBURBAN ROMANTIC
Mater, fons amoris

We wrote it in blood,
we wrote in the earth and all
that emerged into language
we wrote, and drank blood
like pelicans, on our eyelids
a lewd, hoofed night, something in your mouth,
a thicker sky, alma Mater,
unconscious, then so close to
the earth's teeth, two hundred bites,
one everywhere skin and flesh,
lyrebirds, mystic flora, you
took the flow and the vessel, you heard
the liquid spilling, unrhythmic, strong.

The sky steps through the frozen grass,
treads the frost-flowers, loses
its star-vestments under the snow
and in animals' dreams.
In the eyes of the frost the image of
woman is like a weakening,
a forest that I licked free of
your thighs, so that I might climb the
ladder of hair, see
through your mucous membranes
how children throw bones
at the sun, Mater dolorosa,
gentle, green and bright.

Every sign on your body

Every snowflake draws

Even if you left

The Milky Way is not incandescen...

I WENT

Mater, fons amoris

The hanged

Under the dance-floor sky

Venus

Let us dance

Take me

Premonition of autumn

Babble love

The oars of stars

Occultism
